The Role

A deep understanding of social media within sport, coupled with great creative strategic thinking is at the heart of this role.

Briefing, presenting and liaising with current and new clients is also a notable part of this job. You’ll work closely with the agency directors to ensure new and existing client growth to the business.

You’ll oversee our social media team and manages the day-to-day running of client accounts and work on the content strategy long-term. You will work closely with our content creators on new content ideas, following the entire process to finally see them come to life. Your job is to make sure the work we produce as an agency upholds the client objectives, is on-brand, is creative, and is on-trend.

Most importantly, the understanding and knowledge of motorsport, specifically F1 will be imperative to succeed in this role. When we cover live events, from home or on location, you’ll kick into a higher gear where long days, high pressure, and multitasking won’t make you blink an eye. This means you must be extremely confident in your communication skills and demand a very high attention to detail from our staff and from yourself while under pressure.
About You

You are a team player, a natural creative thinker, and digitally fluent. You’re a self-starter, hard-working, bring big energy to your work and you’re approachable. You will play a key role in the growth of the agency, and we are wanting to see someone that really owns their projects, taking full responsibility from start to finish.

You ideally have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an agency, alternatively a sport or motorsport-related background in the field of social media & digital marketing.

You must have a passion and knowledge of motorsport, preferably F1. You will have led social media campaigns and strategies and reported on their performance to your senior team members and to clients.

On your list of passions should be social media as we need someone who truly obsesses over social trends, creativity and performance of content. You’re always analyzing, thinking, creating, and learning.

Attend selected international events/F1 races/shoots, when working remotely, weekend work is required.

Work with the directors and team to develop creative and engaging social media strategies.

Liaise with new and current clients and consult on social media strategies, new business opportunities and creative concepts.

Define the strategy and ongoing optimisation of our client’s social media across all channels in line with the wider marketing strategy to meet and exceed objectives. Including keeping up to date with new trends and ensuring these are implemented as needed.

Develop and oversee the client’s activity calendar for social media including overseeing the day-to-day management of the client’s social media channels.

Ideate and coordinate the creation of social media content in line with campaign priorities and ensure deliverables are met.

Actively spot opportunities to create content/moments for the brand and help clients achieve their business ambitions.

Monitor, track, analyse and report monthly on trends and performance on social media platforms.

Work with the creative, content and social teams to inspire and help them to develop and create iconic content including overseeing the projects from start to finish.

Protect the client’s brand image via community management and monitoring conversations across social media channels and implementing appropriate responses and proactive initiatives.

Other European language skills (in particular German, French, Spanish, Italian).

An impressive track record of growing audiences and delivering on social engagement metrics.

Direct experience in motorsport or other higher-level sport

Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
-
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in the sphere of digital marketing and social media.

Advanced knowledge across major social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok)

Impeccable English skills with excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.

Well-organised and efficient, even in a fast-paced environment.

Project management and problem-solving skills. Both client-side and internally.

Solid experience working with (a) global brand’s social media channels including content performance metrics.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence others and manage expectations

Entrepreneurial and proactive in approach and attitude – gravitas to make things happen

A platform native, including management and distribution tools (Sked, Canva etc)
-
Robust experience with social media marketing accelerating channel growth organically/paid, social influencer marketing.
